I originate from a three years background in PHP programming, which I gained, while working as part of a development team for an online games company. During that time, I strengthened my OOP programming skills in a variety of languages and proficiently (such as PHP, Perl, JAVA or Actionscript). Since then, I have been working freelance for many different businesses, specializing in Wordpress, Prestashop, Drupal and CMSMadeSimple.

I am currently working for Broadbean technology as a Perl developer where I have had the chance to improve my English and my Perl skills. I would appreciate the opportunity to return to work with PHP programming as it is my preferred language. I would be excited to grow and develop in a role which gives me the opportunity to master new skills.

Broadbean is a company which provides a job multiposting system. I have been working for Broadbean since June 2011 as a programmer and Backend PERL integrator. Currently, my job as a Perl scripter and projects manager includes some of the following tasks:

Throughout my time working freelance, I have had the privilege to contribute to many different projects in a variety of roles including as a programmer, designer and analyst. Evidence of this can be seen in a number of E-commerce websites which exceed a simple configuration module as I created them using the Prestashop system particularly for PMC-MILLIOT.

I was regularly needed to support applications created by other in house developers in a variety of languages. I believe it is vital to be both efficient and flexible in order to satisfy my clients. I relish this challenge, in combination with, managing numerous projects and delivering the highest quality results.

PMC-MILLOT is a company selling and repairing scales to companies. I was hired by PMC-MILLOT to train their teams in the intricacies of using and maintaining the Prestashop system. My contract was extended due to the development of several PHP modules, which, allowed the company’s intranet to communicate with all online shops. The contract was completed through the creation of a new E-commerce website.

BJNET is a French digital company which creates and maintains gaming websites. I worked for BJNET for three years whilst simultaneously working towards my Masters, alternating on a monthly basis. During my time working for BJNET, my role evolved.

During the first year, I mainly worked as an HTML/CSS integrator and a PHP programmer. While in the second year, my job expanded to include project management and projects in Actionscript. In my final year, I had the creation and maintenance of many websites in Wordpress and Drupal, for example, ludoweb.com and frenchpokerplayer.com.

One of my biggest challenges, was managing my time in order to promptly complete projects (what does pro mean?) while studying hard at university and excelling at extracurricular activities.
